About us

Petticoat Fair opened in 1964 on Guadalupe Street in Austin, TX. Owners Bob and Betty Andrews’ concept was to provide service to all women in need of intimate apparel. As the business grew, Petticoat Fair moved to Highland Mall and eventually to Northcross Center, where it is located today. The principles of bra fitting and customer service have remained the same since the store’s opening: Every woman is treated with respect and given one-on-one attention to help her feel comfortable and confident in properly fitted undergarments. The techniques Betty learned in corsetiere school and other training courses are still used in the store today, which is now owned by their youngest son, Kirk Andrews and his daughter, Kali Andrews. The entire Petticoat Fair team is committed to continuing and expanding on the tradition of serving women that has been the foundation of Petticoat Fair since 1964.
